 Process of creating an animation

Here i will be talking about how a company would create an animation and the process of it.
 

Kungfu panda by Pixar is a great 3d animated movie and the animation is amazing. I will be using this movie to show their process in creating the animated movie.

Typically they start of by making making a story and creating a script. The script is then given to the storyboard artists to translate the words into pictures. Making a storyboard allows them to plan out the scenes and how things will look. The storyboard is then photographed and uploaded into the computer to be strung together creating a slideshow of pictures. Adding music, sound effects and dialogue to see how they flow together.
